I HAVE FOUND YOUR WEBSITE VERY INFORMATIVE, BEING A TOTAL NOVICE REGARDING BAMBOO, AND I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE SOME JAVA BLACK IN BIG POTS. DOES PUTTING THEM IN POTS RESTRICT THE SIZE THEY WILL GROW? AND WILL THEY LIVE IN FULL SUN IN TROPICAL CAIRNS?
YOUR PROPERTY SOUNDS GREAT & IS ON MY MUST DO LIST FOR MY NEXT TRIP DOWN SOUND.
THANK YOU

We visited Bamboo Land on a return trip from Bargara ealy this year and loved your nursery. The display gardens and nursery were a delight, our only disapointment being the distance from Brisbane!

We bought various types of Bamboo from Bamboo Land, and they are all flourishing. The team are professional and the pricing reasonable. The stock is top quality. Katy Dixon Noosa

Hi,

Your new website is a big improvement on your old. I bought some Bambusa Multiplex from you several years ago and can report they are all doing well. Some with canes thicker than 25mm.

Just one point of interest as I have some over a sewer mains which is approximately 1.5M deep. How deep do their roots go?

Regards
Greg

We visited Bamboo Land this morning and bought some ginger varieties. We'll return to purchase a heap of bamboo next time. It's worth the visit just to experience the tranquility of being surrounded by bamboo.
Cheers,
Lenny & Annie

Hi Janne,
Web site looks great. The bamboos we planted 18 months ago are all doing well with all the rain lately. The Oldhamii and Strictus did best during last winters frost but all the rest have now come back now and hopefully will get big en0ough to weather any more frosts. Keeping the grass in check is a constant problem. Will pop in to Bambooland next time Im up that way . regards Jim

Hello,

Just a quick note to "thank you" for the advice and service you provided at Bambooland. It was very helpful. My husband and I have a great interest in Bamboo and were excited to have found a nursery such as yours while heading back from visiting my home town.

We purchased two different varieties of bamboo and am hoping they will survive while in our care!!

We would be intersted to hear of any expos etc you may hold in the coming year.

We visited Bambooland some years ago and bought some lovely bamboos. We are now looking for an ornamental bamboo to grow in a pot in the garden. We had thought of Himalaya Bamboo but I see you don't stock it. Any suggestions? We loved your property and the way one can view the bamboo in situ was a great help.

Ive been looking for bamboo in my area for soo long.Since I live in the central west n.s.w posted plants would be the only affordable option for me.I am interested in the budda belly and am wondering around how many culms are in the 4l bags as I have an area of around 5 -6mtrs in length and 1mtr wide between two areas I would like to screen/divideand am wondering how many bags I would need.Could you give me a guide price including postage? cheers and congrats on a really well setout site..Ps ...also I have no knowledge of Heliconias AT ALL ...would they suit my climate? and how high on average do they grow? Hi,
Just thought I would tell you that you have one of the best bamboo websites I have come across in years. I have been growing bamboo here in Noosa District for about seven years and have been looking for a Queensland Moso plantation, had no luck to date.

We purchased 7 Murray Island bamboo for screening and one Giant Buddha Belly for a centrepiece for our front garden. After following Janne's instructions faithfully, they are all growing wonderfully well. We can't believe how quickly everything grows. We wish we'd planted more bamboo in the back instead of the two palms we have now, but we'll know better if we move to another place.
