The 100mm bamboo splitters have an internal diameter of 90mm, and will split bamboo up to about 75mm in diameter. These splitters will also split small bamboo with internal diameters down to about 20mm.

These splitters are not design to be hit with a hammer - they should be held in the hands and drawn down over the length of bamboo that is to be split, whilst tapping the end of the bamboo against a hard floor or wall. Alternatively, the splitters can be set up in a solid frame and the bamboo hammered through the splitter.
