Bambusa ventricosa 'Kimmei'

Yellow culms with green striations and cream striped leaves. Being related to the Ventricosa (Buddha's Belly), this bamboo has the potential to develop the short swollen internodes, but it tends to be quite rare and only in certain growing conditions.

Thick clumping bamboo also known as variegated Buddha's Belly. Under harsh conditions, this bamboo develops short swollen internodes - hence its name 'Buddha's Belly'. Large weeping habit with some variegation on the leaves.
