Ficus altissima 'Yellow Gem'
A beautiful bright variety with glossy vivid lime green and vibrant yellow leaves. A member of the elastica family they do well in pots in brightly lit spots indoors or on the patio.

Climate: Prefers tropical or sub-tropical climates or a protected warm position in temperate climates

Growing conditions: Moist well drained soil.
BEWARE: If planting this tree in the ground, Ficus elastica will grow into a large canopy tree, and is usually quite fast growing. Make sure it is given plenty of space. Also, ficus roots travel for quite long distances and can do damage to footings, foundations, underground pipes, etc. Its a beautiful tree, but make sure its planted in the right spot. Or just keep in pots!
