Kerriodoxa elegans
A spectacularly attractive fan palm with large rounded leaves which are bright silvery white on the undersides. There are no thorns on these palms, so it a great feature palm in ornamental gardens.

Typical height: Up to 5m when mature
Climate: Prefers tropical or subtropical climates, or indoors in cool climates
Light conditions: Part shade
Growing conditions: Moist well drained soil
Origin: Thailand
Likes a nice warm shady and sheltered position with well drained soil. It comes from high elevations in Thailand so it can actually tolerate cool temperatures close to freezing.
