Areca vestiaria 'Red Form'
A clustering, shade-loving palm with red crownshafts. The new emerging leaves are also a burgundy-red colour.

A gorgeous fast growing palm native to the mountainous regions and tropical rainforests of eastern Indonesia. Will at times exhibit aerial or stilt root which emerge from the trunk. Flowers are small, yellow and in clusters, followed by orange to red fruit.
Easy to grow and requires little care. Will grow to five metres in the garden, but typically much smaller when used as an indoor plant.
