50cm tall

A unique addition to any garden, with its tall cane-like stems and showy soft pinkish white terminal flowers. Small plantlets can form at the end of stems after flowering. Has a wide distribution throughout the world. Good for flower beds, borders, fillers and mixed plantings. Blends in very well with palms, strelitzia and heliconia species.

Tough garden variety which appreciates plenty of bright light. Being a terrestrial orchid they prefer a slightly denser mix than their epiphytic cousins, which can be made up a mixture of sharp sand, coir peat and fine bark.

Apply a small amount of slow release or liquid fertiliser regularly during the active growing season.
