A medium-sized, cold-hardy heliconia with uniquely long, thin, bright yellow bracts held in a distinctive flat fan arrangement. Very eye-catching when in full bloom, adding bright colour and unusual form to tropical gardens.

Climate: Prefers tropical or subtropical climates, or warm protected areas in Temperate climates (eg. Coastal Sydney)
